1. Wool carpet

Wool carpets are mostly made of wool as the main raw material. In addition, woven wool carpets can be divided into: according to the different wool content in the pile yarn:

(1) Pure wool carpet: wool content ≥95%;

(2) Wool carpet: 80% ≤ wool content < 95%;

(3) Wool blended carpet: 20% ≤ wool content < 80%;

(4) Blended carpet: wool content <20%.

 

2. Chemical fiber carpet

Chemical fiber (synthetic fiber) carpets are made of nylon fiber (nylon), polypropylene fiber (polypropylene), polyacrylonitrile fiber (acrylic fiber), polyester fiber (polyester), styling yarn, PTT and other chemical fibers as the main raw materials. Its biggest feature is strong wear resistance, and it overcomes the shortcomings of pure wool carpets that are prone to corrosion and mildew; however, its flame retardancy and antistatic properties are relatively poor.

1. Plush carpet

It is the most common type of cut pile carpet. The pile length is 5 to 10mm. The broken piles can appear on the carpet surface, which are smooth and uniform.

2. Velvet carpet

The pile length is about 5mm, and the pile surface is densely packed, producing a velvet-like effect.

3. Saxony carpet

The length of the pile is about 15mm, and the pile yarn is twisted and heat-set. The pile produces an effect similar to optical fiber and has a plump texture.

4. Strongly twisted carpet

That is, elbow yarn carpet. The twist of the pile yarn is relatively large, resulting in a hard touch and strong elasticity on the carpet surface. The directionality of the piles is uncertain, so the carpet surface has a special mood and personality.

5. Long pile carpet

The pile length is more than 25 mm, which is thick and long, with a thick carpet surface and an elegant effect.

6. Flat loop pile carpet

The pile is loop-shaped, with uniform and neat loop heights. It is moderately firmer and smoother than the pile of cut pile, making it comfortable to walk on.

7. High and low loop pile carpet (including multiple layers of high and low loop pile)

The high and low pile loop carpets are produced by changes in the length of the pile yarns. The carpet surface has undulating layers, some forming geometric patterns, and the carpet has a three-dimensional feel.

8. Cut/loop pile carpets (including flat cut/loop pile carpets)

Generally, the height of the cut pile part of the carpet exceeds the height of the loop pile. When trimming and smoothing the cut pile pile, the loop pile pile will not be damaged. The mixture of the two pile piles can form a geometric pattern on the carpet surface, including plain jacquard. Effect. The cutting pile technology content of flat-cut/loop carpets is also relatively high.

9. Flat carpet

That is, there are no upright piles on the carpet surface, just like the result of a flat carpet. Part of the needle-punched carpet is used to pull hair on the carpet surface with a licker-in roller, which produces the texture of a hairy carpet.

The width of this kind of carpet is generally 3.66 ~ 4 m. Full-covering means that it is laid on the entire floor between the two indoor walls. When the width of the room where it is laid exceeds the width of the carpet, it can be cut and spliced according to the indoor area conditions.
