Secondary nonwoven carpet backing

The secondary backing is the outer material that creates a barrier between the carpet padding and the floor. Whereas, the primary backing refers to the foundation where the yarn is tufted into the carpet, providing form retention. 

In most cases, secondary backing is composed of multiple layers, but it is possible to only consist of one layer. Some carpets do not have a secondary backing at all. Instead, they have a unitary backing, a heavy coat that is applied directly to the underside of the carpet.

Yuzhimu secondary carpet backing fabric imparts increased resistance to stability in carpets compared to conventional widely used secondary backings while providing the performance of conventional secondary carpet backings  (e.g., similar peel strength, tuft bind, ease of handling). The Yuzhimu backing is produced by bic-component spun-bonded endless filaments non-woven fabric and can be converted easily into carpet using current carpet making techniques.The Yuzhimu secondary carpet backing allows the carpet to better withstand the rigors of typical carpet manufacturing processes.
